The Carnival and Budgies appear in RIFT

Celebrate Carnival 2022 plus Budgies are back – in the Budgie Carnival Celebration

Hamburg, Germany – April 13, 2022 – gamigo is pleased to announce it has assembled a hefty collection of in-game events, quests and items for the “Budgie Carnival Celebration” in its fantasy MMORPG, RIFT.

The Budgie Madness Event is back for two weeks! Saddle up and enter one of the daily races in Cape Jule, Freemarch, Pelladane or Silverwood. If combat is more your speed, then accept the Minions of Migration quest and complete an expert dungeon successfully or win a warfront in the “Birds of a Feather Train Together” quest. By completing these daily quests, players will earn Chaos Motes that can then be traded in to earn their own Budgie mount. For the Budgie curious players, there are also a bunch of new quests available from Frank Stroher, the event NPC, and even more Chaos Motes as rewards!

Celebrate 11 years of RIFT with the Carnival event! Enjoy the anniversary decorations in all major cities and go on daily or weekly quests within the next four weeks. Race around the carnival grounds, catch as many frogs as you can for the frogwrangler, play a classic game of Memory Match or search for the many pinatas to see what they contain – these are just a few of the many fun activities available to celebrate this occasion. The Carnival World event will take place between April 13 and May 10.

With Easter around the corner, RIFT offers an opportunity to celebrate this holiday with a set of themed items: put on bunny ears (which come in a couple of variants) or transform yourself into a cute little bunny.

The Hellbugs Have Once Again Invaded Rift

The Hellbugs’ dormancy has been broken, and it’s up to players to fight off their hellish invasion to save Telara!

Hamburg, Germany – February 1, 2022 – After an indeterminate amount of time, the Hellbugs have reared their ugly heads once again to invade Rift. It’s up to players to fight these hellish creatures to save Telara – and in doing so – earn a number of unique rewards that will display their dominance over the Hellbugs.

In the “Hellbug” event available today, players will need to visit the event merchant located in Telara’s two large capitals of Sanctum or Meridian, depending on their chosen faction. The merchant will be in a panic as they are currently being attacked by small Hellbugs after emerging from beneath their feet. Players will be asked to destroy hellbug footholds and push back hellbug invasions in Mathosia and Ember Isle. There are also six additional Hellbug-related quests.

Once these quests are complete, players will earn Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged for several rewards from either the merchant or the in-game Rift Store. Some rewards include a large Hellbug that can be mounted and a small one that can be treated as a pet. Just make sure not to tell them about all the Hellbugs you had to kill in order to earn their trust.

League of Legends: Renata Glasc reveals herself before her arrival on the Summoner’s Rift with patch 12.4

London, UK – February 1, 2022 – Renata Glasc, the Chem Baroness, is the 159th champion in League of Legends and will be joining the Rift in Patch 12.4! Introduced as a Support, Renata Glasc descends from a family of resourceful and altruistic Zaunits alchemists. Thanks to her foresight and business acumen, she grows up to be an important figure in the district. Ambitious and with an advanced technological heritage, she plans to go beyond the borders of Zaun.

Renata Glasc Abilities Rundown:

Passive – Leverage

Renata Glasc’s basic attacks mark her enemies and deal bonus damage. Damage from Renata’s allies consumes the mark, dealing additional damage.

Q – Handshake

Renata Glasc sends out a missile from her robotic arm that roots the first enemy hit. She can reactivate the ability to throw the enemy in a target direction, damaging enemies hit and stunning them if the thrown target is a champion.

W –  Bailout

Renata Glasc grants an allied champion or herself ramping Attack Speed and Move Speed toward enemies. If the ally gets a takedown on an enemy champion, the buff duration resets. If the ally would die while Bailout is still active, their health is set back to full but they begin burning to death over 3 seconds. The ally can stop the burn by getting a champion takedown before they die.

E – Loyalty Program

Renata Glasc sends out chemtech rockets that shield allies and damage and slow enemies they pass through. The rockets also apply their effects around her on cast and in an explosion at max range.

R – Hostile Takeover

Renata Glasc sends out a cloud of chemicals that causes enemies to go Berserk, increasing their Attack Speed and forcing them to basic attack anything around them. Berserk enemies prioritize attacking their own allies, then neutral units, then Renata Glasc’s team, then Renata Glasc herself.

Monsters, wolves, and pumpkins await players across many gamigo games this Halloween season

gamigoween is here and it’s up to players to survive our many tricks in order to earn their unique and fun treats!

Hamburg, October 27th, 2021 – Fans of gamigo are in for a spectacularly spooky surprise this year! Several of the company’s popular titles are celebrating the most frightfully festive night of the year – Halloween – with plenty of tricks (in the form of in-game events) and treats (i.e., rewards) for players to enjoy.

In no particular order, the following gamigo games are currently holding Halloween-themed events:

  • Trove – Shadow’s Eve has arrived in Trove! The event features a number of new quests, including an 11-part adventure where players help new allies – the Order of the Moon – fight off the werewolf curse of Quberus, a new Delve Biome (The Wolves’ Den), new enemies to combat, and new vendors. Several fan favorites are also returning, such as Explosive Pumpkins, Tasty Candy Corn, and pumpkin dungeons.
  • Fiesta Online – A tricky new Halloween maze awaits players in gamigo’s anime MMORPG, Fiesta Online, that hopefully won’t cause them to go mad as they attempt to avoid spooky pumpkins on their way through the Maze of Madness! The keeper of the maze, Pumpkin Bob awaits players in the center to offer rich rewards as long as they can win this battle.
  • Aura Kingdom – The Hauntings of Azuria have caused plenty of monsters, wolves, and undead to pop up and it’s up to players to fight them off. A Halloween Letter Collection Event, several creepy dungeon crawls, updates to the Bard and Reaper, and plenty of additional holiday-themed events await you in the land of Azuria.
  • Last Chaos – Watch out! There are pumpkins and scarecrows looking to cause havoc to players foolish enough to cross their path! Halloween has found its way into the dark fantasy world of Last Chaos from October 26 until November 08, 2021! Players can collect the pumpkin head from the scarecrow to help gather pumpkins, and then take them back to the spooky strawman to receive their treats. He also takes empty baskets and exchanges them for candy. Watch out, because the giant pumpkin boss can appear at any time… he drops a special parchment with a spell on creating a pumpkin pet! Those feeling brave may want to follow Abraxas, the Demon Knight, to the Lost City in Dratan for some Halloween-themed rewards.
  • Shaiya – It’s zombie hour in Shaiya! The invading undead need to be defeated quickly but beyond that, players shouldn’t forget to help Pin, Fuse and Lug with their quests! But who doesn’t like a pumpkin spiced zombie smoothie for Halloween? Players collect Bronze, Silver and Golden Pumpkins to craft the permanent wings “The Nightmare before Halloween” and much more. And what’s that waiting there, deep in the desert… a new boss?! Halloween in Shaiya takes place between October 26 and November 21, 2021.
  • RIFT – It’s Autumn Harvest once again in gamigo’s epic fantasy MMORPG, RIFT, between October 21 and November 18, 2021. It’s time to change your wardrobe into something scary to prepare for Halloween… jack-o-lanterns and skulls all around, please! Players have to complete weekly and daily quests and earn event currency to buy spooky mounts, eerie pets, accessories, devilish costumes and much more!
  • Echo of Soul – Autumn celebrations are all around Friggard in MMORPG Echo of Soul – but something spooky… something twisted has slowly crept into this world, casting its shadow upon the realm. Between October 20 and November 24, 2021, players can travel to Bernicia and talk to its citizens about Halloween. Doing so will lead them on their path to help drive away Kostus, the Halloween Party disruptor and to receive rich rewards.

If that wasn’t enough, gamigo will be hosting a spooktacular #gamigoween stream on Twitch on Thursday, October 28 at 18:00 CEST / 9:00AM PDT / 12:00PM EDT. During the stream, you can look forward to our team celebrating Halloween in many of our games along with some awesome giveaways.

Hamburg, September 30, 2021 – gamigo is pleased to announce its cooperation with Eden Reforestation Projects will continue permanently. Players can continue to support the nature conservation campaign via gamigo’s charity website.

For almost two years now, players of participating gamigo games have been supporting the good cause of Eden Reforestation Projects with great enthusiasm and success. By purchasing charity packages in select gamigo games, players are rewarded with exclusive in-game items. Due to player contributions, the planters of Eden Reforestation Projects are able to plant new trees in affected regions of the world and, thanks to this support, receive fair remuneration for their valuable work in return.

Many gamigo players had wished for the opportunity to do good and participate in the reforestation project outside of time-limited campaigns. gamigo now enables its players to do this by setting up a permanent option on their charity website to regularly support the work of Eden Reforestation Projects.

Rift Celebrates 10 Amazing Years with a Month-long Event!

Players can join the party for fun and prizes in the fantastical MMORPG

Hamburg – March 30, 2021 | gamigo is excited to announce a month-long 10th-anniversary event of the ground-breaking online RPG Rift. The party starts with the annual Carnival of the Ascended for 2021 which will be running from now through April 22nd. There is fun to be had for all and a few surprises along the way.  

Players will be able to celebrate a decade of memories with the Tenth Anniversary Cape and the special Tenth Anniversary Cake that provides a sweet raid buff. For those with a mischievous side, the Fancy Celebration Cake can be placed for all to sample with a fancy twist for doing so: Everyone will turn into Carnival Unicorns and be able to unlock the Celebration Ruff achievement. 

Other changes coming to the game this week include: 

  • A trio of new Artifact sets with some sweet rewards for completing the collection of each. 
  • The addition of the Guardian Valmeras or the Defiance Warhorses with Auroral Doubloons or Credits. 
  • The addition of the Ascended Trillian Lockwert Minion includes 11 Minion Missions once unlocked.
