Trove’s Sunrise Update Dawns onto PlayStation and Xbox Today

Rise and shine, Trove console players. A new day has dawned and your time to enter the Sundered Uplands has arrived.

Hamburg, Germany – July 26, 2022 – gamigo is announcing daylight has broken for console players of its popular voxel-based MMO, Trove. Starting today, Trovians playing on PlayStation and Xbox can begin exploring the “Sunrise” update, which includes the new Solarion class, along with a revamp of the Shadow Hunter class and an all-new season of Bomber Royale.

The new Solarion class works as a servant of the Sun Goddess to smite enemies through a combination of their bow for long-range attacks and a pet phoenix that rushes in with fast and fierce melee attacks. This fired-up class uses their Phoenix Radiance passive ability to increase their attack rate and gain energy to summon a pet phoenix to aid in battle. When the phoenix is slain, a self-healing egg will spawn and explode once its max health is reached. And from the egg’s ashes, the Solarion’s phoenix will rise again to aid their master once more!

The Sundered Lands is Trove’s newest biome that can be reached by players that have progressed to at least Uber-1 Adventure Worlds, but will primarily be found in Uber-7 Adventure Worlds. With its unique upper and lower levels, Trovians will soon discover a biome filled with many challenges as the Irradiant Sky Giants continue to build and expand land stolen from below, tipping the balance of power in their favor.

Not to be upstaged by the Solarion and Sundered Lands, the Shadow Hunter class has been blessed with divine light from the Sky Realm’s Radiant Ruins with a new passive ability and their new Sacred Arrow Ultimate Ability, which unleashes a large arrow of pure energy dealing 300% damage every 0.5 seconds for 7.5 seconds, piercing through targets and blocks. Additional classes have also been rebalanced, such as the Boomeranger and Gunslinger.

To round out today’s console patch, Season 3 of Bomber Royale is now available! Trovians can enjoy new maps, new bombs, new rewards, a new queue system, and new options for private matches.

Nintendo Switch players can expect this update to become available soon.

Trove Celebrates 7th Birthday with the Launch of Sunfest

Hamburg, Germany – July 12, 2022 – gamigo invites players to take a break from the summer heat by logging into its popular voxel-based MMO Trove for this year’s Sunfest in-game event and to celebrate the games 7th birthday!

Sunfest 2022 is sure to be unforgettable as Trovians can meet charismatic newcomer Chuck Pinzo as he introduces a new way to become flush with cubits through his own once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity (or scam, depending on who you ask.) Players who invest in Chuck Pinzo’s “opportunity” to make money off the Great Houses of Trove will find themselves strung along a 12-step questline that rewards players with two new currencies, Pinzoins and Trovian Finite Notes (TFN). The former of the two can be used to earn tradable skins from the most recent Bunfest, Shadow’s Eve, and Snowfest events while the latter can be redeemed for new mounts, new allies, and Premium Reward Crates containing tradable versions of all of this and last year’s allies and mounts.

In addition to Chuck Pinzo’s questline and rewards, Trovians can once again purchase delve decoration boxes for the Tysorion, Carys, and Panatea houses from previous Sunfest events. Last year’s Sunfest collectables are also available to craft and can be obtained by converting TFNs into the appropriate house’s unique currency.

Sunfest 2022 isn’t the only reason to jump back into Trove as the game celebrates its 7th birthday! There will be plenty of piñatas spawning at random locations across the world of Trove that will include random rewards players aren’t going to want to miss. And if players input the code TROVE7THBIRTHDAY, maybe they’ll get something special? *wink*

Cleanse the “Night Stalkers Hideout” in Fiesta Online

Once again, corruption takes its toll and players must free a new dungeon in Fiesta Online

Hamburg, Germany – July 05, 2022 – gamigo is happy to announce that the latest patch for its anime MMO Fiesta Online is available today. This update for the game will offer a new dungeon to free from Corruption for players lvl 135 to 140 and several new quests to complete with new monsters and new items.

In the beginning, players are sought after and informed of troublesome developments in the Celestial Gardens. The ogre Kalzar has disappeared and for some time now, Kathleen wanted to learn about his whereabouts. She asks the players to support her in her search and to embark on a journey to find him. The trail leads them to the Celestial Mine where the Night Stalkers reside. Their leaders — the twins Elder and Emmit — devised a plan to gain more power and to pillage the resources of the mine to obtain riches. They had infected Kalzar with Corruption in order to make him the protector of their treasures. It will be the players’ task to clear the dungeon and free him.

If players are successful in their quest, precious accessories that hold mysterious powers wait for them. And if players are more into outer appearances, they can get a new outfit, three new pets and can select between different weapon and shield skins.

The sun shines brightly in Trove through Sunrise Update

Hamburg, Germany – June 29, 2022 – gamigo is happy to announce that the “Sunrise” update for its voxel-based MMO, Trove is out today on PC. ​ The new update is one of the biggest ever released for Trove, bringing a new class, a new and unique biome, and much more new content to explore – all for free!

It introduces the Sundered Uplands, a new biome to Trove, that features unique upper and lower levels – the Cloud Layer and the Ashen Wastes, which can have an effect on each other. Many new adventures await Trovians in this challenging new biome, from new Ultimate Bosses in special 5-star dungeons in the Ashen Wastes, to mining the rich resources in the Cloud Layer. But don’t try to fly too high since the Sundered Uplands were declared a “No Fly Zone”.

The “Sunrise” update also shines a spotlight on the new Solarion class. This servant of the Sun Goddess takes down enemies with a combination of his bow for ranged attacks, and a pet phoenix that launches itself at them with fast and fierce melee attacks. Additional abilities for the Solarion include Solar Flare – a charged explosive shot that damages enemies over time – and Guiding Light – summoned pillars that damage enemies and heals friendly targets within their area.

Trove’s “Sunrise” update is out today for free on PC and will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch coming soon.

Trove’s Spring Fling Event Now Available

New rewards, quests, and the return of Sir Dapper Duckington highlight Trove’s latest seasonal event!

Hamburg, Germany – May 4, 2022 – gamigo is happy to report spring has officially sprung in its voxel-based MMO, Trove. That could only mean one thing: Spring Fling is back! This year’s event marks the return of Sir Dapper Duckington Esquire as he provides Spring Flingers, but also new rewards, a new pack featuring all player-made content, and MORE Waspiders! Sorry, Arachna-Spheksophobics…

Starting today through May 16, Trovians can take part in several new and returning activities starting with an 8-step quest chain saving bees for bucks (aka endgame currencies) and new rewards that include two new pets, two new mounts, and a new banner.

It wouldn’t be a Spring Fling event without spring flingers! These multipurpose posies can be purchased from Sir Dapper Duckington and can be used year-round to spawn flowers at thrown locations (now with additional colors) as well as spawning a Bee Buddy Ally in the Medieval Highlands and Permafrost zones.

If flinging bombs is more a Trovians’ style, then they’ll be happy to hear a new season of Bomber Royale has also sprung! Players can bomb their buds across four new maps using the latest in bomb technology in the form of three new powerups. A new queue system and options for private matches round out this bombastic betterment!

Save the Golden Egg in Fiesta Online’s Easter Event

Lots of holiday-themed content waits for players to discover, including an epic rabbit-eared opponent!

Hamburg, Germany – April 12, 2022 – Easter is coming soon and it’s time to cultivate beloved traditions again – and Fiesta Online is no exception! gamigo is delighted to announce this springtime holiday will be making its way into the mystic MMO starting today.

The first thing players may notice upon logging into the game is the appearance of Magic Easter Trees all around the towns of Isya. Once players witness their beauty, they’ll probably feel inclined to dance around them, which will reward players with a special Easter buff.

Can you stop the destruction of the Golden Egg? If you’re up to the challenge, join a group of fellow players and go on the Kingdom Quest “Protect the Golden Egg” together. Defend this special egg against waves of monsters and use any surprise at your disposal (AKA mines) to deal damage to those monsters trying to destroy the Golden Egg.

With a belly full of Easter eggs, players should feel strong enough to face any challenge. With that said, it’s time to face a special opponent – Chonk Chongus is waiting for you! Head to one of the Free Battle Zones to face this rabbit-eared hunk equipped with a carrot MG. If you defeat him, he will drop special Festival Eggs.

Easter is also an opportunity to dress in style and get your teammates in the egg-hunting spirit. How about a chic Easter bunny look for your own shield, some bunny ears or a Choco Rabbit as Pet? Just a few of many new Easterly items players can earn.

The Easter event in Fiesta Online will take place between April 12 and May 10.

Also starting today, the NPC Raul can be found in the cities of Isya, usually close to a blacksmith. When Raul entered Isya, his flock of sheep became corrupted, and he seeks the player to remedy that for him. Helping Raul will not only yield a special sheep-y mount and a couple of enhancement stones, but also keeping close to him will grant players a buff that will increase their success rate of enhancing items. This Enhancement Buff event will run until May 10.

Experience the past and change the future in ‘Whispering Abyss’ for Aura Kingdom

Hamburg, Germany – February 23, 2022 – gamigo is asking heroes of anime MMO Aura Kingdom for help. A robot rebellion has hit the Starstruck plateau in North Midgard. The Security Advisor in Navea, Brinz, is looking for outsiders to complete the job and suppress the rebellion. Players will disguise themselves as dwarf soldiers to defeat the robots and their strongholds. Rebellion Storm Boxes will offer rich rewards.

But this is just one of many new adventures that players can experience in the “Whispering Abyss”, patch 85 for “Aura Kingdom”:
New Dungeon “OW: Tree Cave”: Players will remember what the Winged Duke has done in this cave. He led an army of demons across the threshold of time to these ancient ruins. Defeating him will be redemption!
New Dungeon “OW: Obscure Temple”: A strong evil envelops the entire temple, and one can feel it takes one’s breath away. The demons are preparing to corrupt the sealed holy sword.
“OW:Tree Cave” and “OW: Obscure Temple” are only available to characters with Slvl 15 or higher and can be played in the following modes: Solo, Solo hard, Party and Hell.
New Quest “Demon King Fantasies 11 – Battle of Destiny”: A new installment in this series of quests will allow the player to explore the past and witness the awakening of the Astral Dragon. Completing the quest “Lv.95 Battle of Destiny” will earn the player the Astral Dragon’s Scales which can be combined with another item for a chance to obtain the Astral Dragon mount.
New Quest “Play Hero”: This new Mirabelle quest lets a group of five players enter a big mansion which is guarded by a small sprite who will let the group take on four stages of games. Completing this rewards the group with the “Fairytale Fairy Gift Fox”.
Class Balance “Rockstar”: The patch for Aura Kingdom also offers a new balancing for the Rockstar class, featuring skill improvements to all damage coefficients while also decreasing cooldown times for some of his rockin’ skills.

Love Is All Around in Anime MMO Fiesta Online

It’s time to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Fiesta Online with special events, quests, and new items

Hamburg, Germany – February 08, 2022 –  gamigo sends greetings to all lovers and soon-to-be lovers and invites them to the Valentine’s Day celebrations in its anime MMO Fiesta Online that begins today.

Lovers who aspire to marry their partner in a special Valentine Wedding ceremony during this event should keep their eyes peeled for an announcement of when it will take place. They will then be transported to a glamorous location and united in marriage through a Game Master.

And then there’s Florenz who will need the players’ help again to find a special Valentine’s gift for his beloved Carol! His cries for help sound through the streets of Elderine, so players should get there quickly to relieve him from his sorrow.

The Hellbugs Have Once Again Invaded Rift

The Hellbugs’ dormancy has been broken, and it’s up to players to fight off their hellish invasion to save Telara!

Hamburg, Germany – February 1, 2022 – After an indeterminate amount of time, the Hellbugs have reared their ugly heads once again to invade Rift. It’s up to players to fight these hellish creatures to save Telara – and in doing so – earn a number of unique rewards that will display their dominance over the Hellbugs.

In the “Hellbug” event available today, players will need to visit the event merchant located in Telara’s two large capitals of Sanctum or Meridian, depending on their chosen faction. The merchant will be in a panic as they are currently being attacked by small Hellbugs after emerging from beneath their feet. Players will be asked to destroy hellbug footholds and push back hellbug invasions in Mathosia and Ember Isle. There are also six additional Hellbug-related quests.

Once these quests are complete, players will earn Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged for several rewards from either the merchant or the in-game Rift Store. Some rewards include a large Hellbug that can be mounted and a small one that can be treated as a pet. Just make sure not to tell them about all the Hellbugs you had to kill in order to earn their trust.
