Experience the past and change the future in ‘Whispering Abyss’ for Aura Kingdom

Hamburg, Germany – February 23, 2022 – gamigo is asking heroes of anime MMO Aura Kingdom for help. A robot rebellion has hit the Starstruck plateau in North Midgard. The Security Advisor in Navea, Brinz, is looking for outsiders to complete the job and suppress the rebellion. Players will disguise themselves as dwarf soldiers to defeat the robots and their strongholds. Rebellion Storm Boxes will offer rich rewards.

But this is just one of many new adventures that players can experience in the “Whispering Abyss”, patch 85 for “Aura Kingdom”:
New Dungeon “OW: Tree Cave”: Players will remember what the Winged Duke has done in this cave. He led an army of demons across the threshold of time to these ancient ruins. Defeating him will be redemption!
New Dungeon “OW: Obscure Temple”: A strong evil envelops the entire temple, and one can feel it takes one’s breath away. The demons are preparing to corrupt the sealed holy sword.
“OW:Tree Cave” and “OW: Obscure Temple” are only available to characters with Slvl 15 or higher and can be played in the following modes: Solo, Solo hard, Party and Hell.
New Quest “Demon King Fantasies 11 – Battle of Destiny”: A new installment in this series of quests will allow the player to explore the past and witness the awakening of the Astral Dragon. Completing the quest “Lv.95 Battle of Destiny” will earn the player the Astral Dragon’s Scales which can be combined with another item for a chance to obtain the Astral Dragon mount.
New Quest “Play Hero”: This new Mirabelle quest lets a group of five players enter a big mansion which is guarded by a small sprite who will let the group take on four stages of games. Completing this rewards the group with the “Fairytale Fairy Gift Fox”.
Class Balance “Rockstar”: The patch for Aura Kingdom also offers a new balancing for the Rockstar class, featuring skill improvements to all damage coefficients while also decreasing cooldown times for some of his rockin’ skills.

Love Is All Around in Anime MMO Fiesta Online

It’s time to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Fiesta Online with special events, quests, and new items

Hamburg, Germany – February 08, 2022 –  gamigo sends greetings to all lovers and soon-to-be lovers and invites them to the Valentine’s Day celebrations in its anime MMO Fiesta Online that begins today.

Trove Becomes Overrun with Heckbugs Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places

The Heckbugs in Love event kicks off today and Trovians need to help these creatures find their one true bug

Hamburg, Germany – February 8th, 2022 – Whether you’re a Trovian that’s currently in love, looking for “the one,” or prefer to be a lone wolf, gamigo invites you to jump into the world of Trove to take part in its Heckbugs in Love event. These uniquely popular bugs have found their way back into the voxel-based MMORPG to teach players that even Heckbugs can find love. Learning this valuable lesson – or at least completing some in-game events – will reward Trovians with some unique items like the Heckbug Ball Mount or the Bouncin’ Heckbug.

For this year’s event, players can participate in an 8-step quest chain where they’ll find themselves in a Geodian Cave called Sunken Sunvault, where the Heckbugs have stumbled into. Players will then need to aid them, and upon completion, will earn a new lockbox that rewards Crystals, Heckbug Eggs, a new Heckbug Ally, and even the Heckbug Baby Mount from 2020’s event. Heckbug Eggs can also be found while exploring the caves and can be hatched to unlock 3 new companions.

Trovians that participate in this quest for love will receive an extra temporary Heckbug ally that can help fight – and possibly fall in love with – enemy Heckbugs. Considering invasions will appear twice as often with Shadow Heckbugs replacing Shadow Giants, players are going to need all the help they can get to survive. The Dragonfire Peaks zone has also been taken over by these pests from purgatory that have a shield which can only be disarmed by the player’s companion Heckbug. Breaking their defenses will allow players to damage them more effectively. Defeating these agonizing arachnids gives players the chance to earn a Skittering Heart Box which may contain a Bashful Lovebug Mount or a Dormant Block Dragon Egg.

gamigo’s community plants more than 110,000 new trees through Eden Reforestation Projects

In just three months the cooperation grew to a new milestone, thanks to the generous support of players

Hamburg, Germany – February 3, 2022 – gamigo is proud to announce that its community reached another milestone in getting trees planted through its permanent cooperation with Eden Reforestation Projects. 

In September 2021, gamigo announced that this partnership would be made permanent and that players could support the nature conservation campaign through its charity website. Between the end of September and December 2021, funds were raised through the generous contributions of gamigo’s community to plant more than 110,000 new trees. 

By purchasing the charity packages for select gamigo games, players are rewarded with in-game items. Due to contributions of gamigo players, the planters of Eden Reforestation Projects are able to plant new trees in affected regions of the world and, thanks to this support, receive fair remuneration for their valuable work in return. 

The cooperation with Eden Reforestation Projects is part of the initiative of the gamigo group and its parent company MGI to raise awareness for sustainability among its players and to support this through further measures. 

Additional activities of gamigo comprise of, among others, maintaining carbon neutrality for the whole group.

The Hellbugs Have Once Again Invaded Rift

The Hellbugs’ dormancy has been broken, and it’s up to players to fight off their hellish invasion to save Telara!

Hamburg, Germany – February 1, 2022 – After an indeterminate amount of time, the Hellbugs have reared their ugly heads once again to invade Rift. It’s up to players to fight these hellish creatures to save Telara – and in doing so – earn a number of unique rewards that will display their dominance over the Hellbugs.

In the “Hellbug” event available today, players will need to visit the event merchant located in Telara’s two large capitals of Sanctum or Meridian, depending on their chosen faction. The merchant will be in a panic as they are currently being attacked by small Hellbugs after emerging from beneath their feet. Players will be asked to destroy hellbug footholds and push back hellbug invasions in Mathosia and Ember Isle. There are also six additional Hellbug-related quests.

Once these quests are complete, players will earn Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged for several rewards from either the merchant or the in-game Rift Store. Some rewards include a large Hellbug that can be mounted and a small one that can be treated as a pet. Just make sure not to tell them about all the Hellbugs you had to kill in order to earn their trust.

Grand Fantasia Celebrates Lunar New Year with Festivities, New Sprites, and more

Hamburg, Germany – January 25th, 2022 – The Lunar New Year is upon us, and Grand Fantasia is celebrating the year of the tiger with several fun in-game festivities! Today’s Sprite Extravaganza update also delivers more usable sprites, more visible buffs, and other player-requested improvements.

For the Lunar New Year, Messengers are tasked with helping Sprite Hujia deliver gifts he has accumulated over the years to his family back home. Assisting Sprite Hujia will be no easy task as players need to escort him past evil doers that will stop at nothing to earn his sweet loot. Gamigo will expand its product range by acquiring new licenses and additional titles for international publishing. As part of this portfolio strategy, the new department will bring new games to the market and provide publishing support to partner developers.

The launch department will be headed by Marcus Behrens as Director Publishing and Marc Berekoven as Director Marketing. Behrens joined the gamigo group in January 2022 after holding lead positions as Publishing Director Mobile / Business Development at Kalypso Media and Head of Publishing at Bigpoint. Berekoven joined gamigo in December 2021 after holding executive positions as Head of Business Development at 4Players, Marketing Director Europe at NCsoft Europe, and Senior Marketing Manager Europe at ZeniMax Europe in recent years.

The first title to be overseen by the new launch department is the dynamic open-world MMORPG Fractured Online by Dynamight Studios, which was recently announced in December 2021. The gamigo group will provide the developer with publishing support before and after release.

Enter the ‘Valleys of Ice Hearts’ in Aura Kingdom

Hamburg, Germany – January 13, 2022 – gamigo invites all players to travel to the Valleys of Ice Hearts, the latest update for Aura Kingdom. Venturing into the Valleys comes with a level cap increase, new maps, dungeons, events, and much more.

Players can start the new year in Aura Kingdom with new challenges and an increased level cap – the maximum level is now Slv25 (125). Four new fame quests will be handed out by Mirabelle and they’ll allow access to the dungeons Hidden Crystals Cave, Ancestral Spirits Temple, Otherworld: Glacial Ice Cavern and Otherworld: Subterranean Sanctuary. These quests can be completed every day but only once per day.

Patch 84 – aka the Valleys of Ice Hearts patch – will feature several new maps and dungeons to explore:
New Map “Snow Crystal Plains”: A city famous for its crystal and unique scenery. Winter is still in full swing here! However, for all its breathtaking beauty, it has never been a place of peace. Here, the past and present are of no importance.
New Map “Deep Hidden Valley”: The density of the majestic trees hides most of the sunlight – as if they didn’t want the sun’s rays to reach the people down below. The atmosphere is peaceful, but there is something unsettling about it! Players should get ready to fish, collect, dig, cook, learn the stories of the villagers and receive many new achievements!
New Dungeon “Deer Valley”: The once Avian Artifact Sanctuary is now completely overrun by dangerous monsters, who lie in wait for their next prey.
New Dungeon “Blue Valley Secret Realm”: The landscape will enchant players with blue plants filling the valley and moss covering every stone step. Looking up, they will see a beautiful golden glow spread throughout the forest. But not all is bliss. Little by little, this beautiful energy has been corrupted by an evil aura that begins to rise from deep within the forest.
Eidolon Story Dungeon “Alucard”: Alucard came to the border of Azuria in search of a Maker. He wants to find the legend, but many obstacles await him on his way. It is said that he is always looking for a special person, his soulmate, but he has had no luck so far… is the player his special someone? This dungeon is only available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and to those that have reached level 60 or higher.
Further adventures await with a group of otters digging holes in Cactakara Forest and a horde of sea creatures invading the north side of the Helonia Coast.
