TFT’s fourth set will introduce a whole new roster, new ranked season, new traits, new Arenas, new Little Legends and a new pass for players.
LOS ANGELES – August 20, 2020 – Today Riot Games announced the new set Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Fates. Fates will launch on Patch 10.19 in the League of Legends patch cycle. The Set will include a whole new roster of champions and traits based on the mythical fantasy skinlines of League of Legends. It will also include new personalisation features and a new ranked season.
The update will include the following new features:
- Fates Pass and Fates Pass+(Free and Paid progression-based features that allow players to unlock personalisation content as they play games)
- Fates Booms (Personalised Damage Animations)
- A new line of dragon-themed Little Legends (Personalised Player Avatars)
- Alternate ways to upgrade Little Legends
- Ranked Rewards for players from past sets
- A new Ranked season with new rewards
It will also include the following gameplay changes:
- A whole new roster of 58 Champions in new Origins and Classes
- A new set mechanic
- New Items
TFT is an eight person free-for-all strategy game where players combine LoL champions and items in different formations to defeat the seven other players in a match. As the leading game in the auto-battler genre, players tactically place an army of characters on a grid-shaped game board for a last-player-standing automated battle.
