Aarhus, Denmark – Fair Games is celebrating the newest title update for their survival game, Necesse. The latest Necesse update brings a complete graphics overhaul, giving the game a completely fresh look!
With over 10,000 overwhelmingly positive ratings on Steam, 400,000 wishlists, and over 1,000,000 copies sold, Necesse has already captivated a vast audience. And now they have another treat for new and existing players alike.
With the Graphics Update released, it looks as if there is now nothing standing in the way of reaching a full release of Necesse within a reasonable timeframe.The game’s unique balancing of survival and colony management has established Necesse as one of the most highly anticipated games to leave Early Access.
The team at Fair Games has also sprinkled a lot of gameplay and quality-of-life dust into the update. For instance these new features:
- Settlers, yourself and your friends are now able to sit down on chairs!
- Wind effects, improved lighting and deep/shallow water. That’s right, bring your best beach outfit!
- The Landscaping Station, which gives access to all the building blocks you didn’t know you were missing.
- The expression wheel, to better share your feelings with your friends. Roleplay is not mandatory, but it is encouraged!

In Necesse you play as yourself, a lonesome hero who has to start from nothing to achieve greatness. Build a powerful settlement and recruit settlers to colonize your base and get them to help out with the mundane tasks such as farming, wood cutting and sorting your storage inventories. You can even take it a step further and equip your settlers with powerful gear and have them serve as your bodyguards on adventures! Invite all of your friends and together you can explore procedural generated caves filled with secrets, loot and powerful bosses that drop even more loot!
