Arcane Overdrive Demo Live on Steam – Build Magical War Machines and Battle Fierce Enemies

Istanbul, Turkey – Independent developer Nords Games is thrilled to announce that the playable demo of their upcoming roguelike-survivor hybrid, Arcane Overdrive, is now live on Steam Next Fest. Players can now dive into the action, crafting monster-powered war machines and battling relentless waves of enemies in a fantasy world brimming with danger and magic.

Set in a fantasy medieval world, Arcane Overdrive blends roguelike and survivor style gameplay with creative vehicle building. Players build their own combat vehicles by combining modular parts and monsters, and take on waves of enemies including orcs, skeletons, and powerful bosses. Players can experiment with different weapons and elemental spells to find their perfect balance between strategy and chaos. The result is a fast-paced fantasy experience where every build feels distinct and every battle pushes you to adapt and evolve.

Arcane Overdrive demo key features:

  • Build Your War Machine: Combine top, middle, and bottom parts. Each part shapes stats, abilities, weapon slots, and movement. Your design defines your playstyle.
  • Weapons & Spells: Collect powers from vehicle parts and level-ups, spanning elemental powers such as fire, ice, electric, and physical. And stacking the same weapon makes it even stronger.
  • Epic Combat: Mix magic and weapons to defeat bosses and enemy waves. 
  • Skill Progression: Unlock upgrades and new mechanics through the Skill Tree. 
  • Fantasy Exploration: Explore a rich medieval world filled with magic, monsters, and surprises at every corner.

Hollow Home begins its journey on Kickstarter

Hollow Home follows Maksym, a 14-year-old boy. Alone in an occupied city, he must navigate the wreckage of his world, both physical and emotional. There are no weapons. No battles. Just survival, hard choices, and a haunting sense of what’s been lost.

While the game features survival elements such as scavenging, crafting, and stealth, it is primarily driven by its narrative core. Hollow Home is a story about the war’s emotional and psychological toll on civilians. Inspired by the real events in Mariupol. Hollow Home aims to offer a meaningful and respectful experience that honors the resilience of those affected by conflict, fosters empathy, and preserves the memory of a city torn apart.
